It was a lot of fun and a great experience to say the least! I was cast by my friend and former Fitness Kickboxing student Jodi Purdi-Quinlan. Jodi is starting a new casting agency called South Shore Casting. She is getting ready for the TWO new movie studios coming to the South Shore in the next few years. We at AKKA are helping her get started by building up her database of profiles. There will be a FREE profile session on Saturday, March 28th from 4-6pm at our AKKA Hanson location at 6 Main St right on Rt 27. Submitting a profile is usually an expensive procedure. The photographer alone can be HUNDREDS of dollars or more! Jodi and her team from South Shore Casting will be creating profiles for adults and kids of all ages, talents, and physiques to potentially appear in movies. Each profile will only take a few minutes. Currently, there are around 15 new movies being planned this year alone in MA. Talents like Ben Afleck and Tommy Lee Jones will be in the area VERY soon!
